POS ISSUES: HOW TO TROUBLESHOOT

Use the key on the front of the 7403 case to access the computer interior

Red arrow- power supply

Blue arrow- printer cable

Green circle- Ethernet cable

ISSUES:

SCREEN FROZEN ON ELSTAR SCREEN:

Could be connectivity issue.

 

IF ALL POS:

  1. Restart BOH computer.

  2. Reboot all terminals.

 

IF ONE POS:

  1. Re-seat Ethernet connections at POS and wall jack.

  2. Call Help Desk if still not resolved.

SCREEN IS OUT OF TOUCH CALIBRATION

  1. Click HERE to go to Diagnostic Utility page.

CARDS WON'T SWIPE

  1. Clean Magnetic Stripe Reader with approved cleaners.

  2. Try dropping new drivers (see Diagnostic Utility page).

  3. Call Help Desk.
